Laser Hair Removal for Smooth, Low-Maintenance Skin
Ditch the Razor
DiolazeXL is an advanced laser hair removal treatment that uses diode technology to target and reduce unwanted hair across a range of skin types and tones. Treatments are quick, effective, and designed for comfort, with a built-in cooling system that minimizes discomfort during the procedure.
Laser hair removal can be used on areas such as the face, legs, arms, underarms, and bikini area, providing long-term reduction for smoother, low-maintenance skin.
What to Expect
First, you’ll meet with one of our licensed aesthetic providers to review your goals and treatment areas. Laser hair removal is safe and effective for most skin types, with best results typically seen in darker hair.
Prior to your appointment, the treatment area should be shaved, and sun exposure or spray tanning should be avoided.
During treatment, a cooling gel is applied to the skin, and you may feel a mild warming or snapping sensation as the laser targets the hair follicles. Most patients find the treatment very tolerable.
You can return to normal activities right away, though it’s best to avoid intense exercise for 24 hours and limit sun exposure following treatment.

FAQs
-
DiolazeXL uses a high-powered diode laser to target pigment in the hair follicle, delivering heat that effectively destroys follicles in their active growth phase. Over a series of treatments, this leads to long-term reduction in hair growth.
-
A series of 6–8 treatments is typically recommended for optimal hair reduction. The exact number of sessions varies depending on your hair color, hair type, treatment area, and skin tone. Because hair grows in cycles, multiple treatments are needed to effectively target follicles in their active growth phase.
After completing a series, occasional maintenance treatments may be needed, particularly in areas influenced by hormones, with regrowth typically finer, more sparse, and associated with fewer ingrown hairs.
-
Yes, DiolazeXL is a safe and effective method for hair removal when performed by a licensed and experienced provider.
-
DiolazeXL has a built-in cooling surface that enhances comfort during treatment. You may feel a mild warming or snapping sensation depending on the area being treated, but most patients find it very tolerable and less uncomfortable than waxing.
-
Treatment time varies based on the area being treated. Smaller areas, such as the bikini or underarms, can take less than 15 minutes, while larger areas like full legs may take up to 45 minutes.
-
You may experience mild redness or sensitivity in the treated area, which typically resolves within a few hours to a few days. It’s best to avoid intense exercise and limit sun exposure for 24–48 hours following treatment.
-
DiolazeXL is suitable for most skin types, with best results typically seen in darker hair due to how the laser targets pigment. Your provider will tailor treatment settings based on your skin and hair type to ensure safe and effective results.
-
You may begin to notice improvement within 1–2 weeks after your first treatment as treated hairs shed, often with smoother skin and fewer ingrowns. Because laser targets hair in its active growth phase, not all follicles are treated at once. Regrowth will occur between sessions, but with each treatment, more follicles are targeted, leading to progressively reduced growth over time.
