Pre-Care Instructions:
Avoid blood-thinning medications for 2 weeks prior, including ibuprofen, aspirin, vitamin E, and fish oil. Tylenol is fine if needed. If you are taking any prescribed blood thinners, please consult with your prescribing provider before making any changes.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior and avoid caffeine the morning of your appointment.
Aftercare Instructions:
Small bumps, redness, or minor swelling at injection sites are normal and typically resolve within 1–2 hours.
Avoid strenuous activity, saunas, steam rooms, and hot yoga for 24 hours.
Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated areas for 24 hours. Avoid hats or headbands if treating the upper face.
Results develop over 2–3 weeks. A touch-up may be scheduled after 2 weeks if needed.

Advanced Skin Treatments

What to Expect:
A warm, sunburn-like sensation is normal immediately after treatment.
Redness and swelling typically last 3–5 days, peaking around days 2–3.
Bruising can occur and may last up to 2 weeks.
Skin may feel dry, tight, and begin to flake or peel over the following days.
Temporary grid-like marks may be visible and will resolve.
Aftercare Instructions:
Treat your skin like a mild burn and prioritize hydration.
Avoid touching or picking the skin. Sleep on a clean pillowcase.
Avoid makeup for 48 hours.
Avoid retinols, exfoliants, and active skincare for at least 7 days or until healed.
Avoid facials, dermaplaning, and exfoliating treatments for 2 weeks.
Avoid strenuous activity for 24 hours. Avoid heat, steam, and swimming for 3 days.
Avoid direct sun exposure and wear a mineral-based SPF daily.
Post-Treatment Skincare:
Wait until the next morning to cleanse unless otherwise instructed. Only touch your skin with clean hands and sleep on a clean pillowcase.
Cleanse morning and night using a gentle cleanser, such as ZO Gentle Cleanser, Alastin Gentle Cleanser, Cetaphil, or CeraVe.
Apply recommended healing products, such as Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar or the Hydrinity Restorative Kit, to support recovery and optimize results.
Keep skin well hydrated with a gentle, non-irritating moisturizer.
Use a broad-spectrum, mineral-based SPF daily to protect your skin and maintain your results.
Avoid makeup for at least 48 hours. When you resume, use clean or new brushes and sponges.
Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol, glycolic acid, exfoliating acids, benzoyl peroxide, and hydroquinone for at least 7 days, or until your skin is fully healed.
Avoid exfoliating, facials, dermaplaning, and other treatments for at least 2 weeks.
Results:
Initial improvement may be seen after one treatment.
Collagen production develops over time, with full results typically seen 1–3 months after treatment.
Laser and Light-Based Treatments

Pre-Care Instructions:
Avoid intentional sun exposure, tanning, and spray tans for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
Shave the treatment area(s) the day before or day of your appointment. If you are unable to shave, please let us know in advance so we can allow additional time.
Do not pluck, wax, or use depilatory creams for at least 4 weeks prior to your first treatment, or at any time during your treatment series.
Some medications, such as antibiotics, may increase photosensitivity, so please inform your provider of any new medications.
If you have a history of cold sores in the treatment area, please inform your provider, as you may need to start an antiviral medication prior to treatment.
Discontinue retinols, hydroquinone, exfoliating acids (glycolic, lactic, or salicylic acid), and any other active or potentially irritating skincare products for 3-5 days prior.
Do not undergo other laser, light-based, chemical, exfoliating, or resurfacing treatments in the treatment area(s) for at least 2 weeks prior.
Aftercare Instructions:
Avoid direct and intentional sun exposure for 1 week following your appointment. Wear a broad-spectrum SPF daily.
Redness, itchiness, and mild irritation are common. You may apply aloe or hydrocortisone as needed. Avoid lotions, fragrances, and deodorant in the treated area(s) for 24 hours, and avoid scratching or picking.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours, including weightlifting and hot or inverted yoga. Light activity such as walking is fine.
Avoid pools, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms for 3 days.
Avoid additional laser, light-based, chemical, exfoliating, or resurfacing treatments in the treatment area(s) for at least 2 weeks.
Hair will gradually shed over the following weeks. You may continue to shave as needed between treatments.
Laser hair removal results in long-term reduction, not complete removal. Hormones can influence regrowth, and maintenance treatments may be recommended.

Maintenance Recommendations:
