Dermal Filler with a Full-Face Approach

Smooth, Contour & Balance

Dermal fillers, made from hyaluronic acid, are injected into soft tissue to reduce visible signs of aging and restore volume. Using a full-face approach, filler can contour and balance facial features, smooth lines, enhance and hydrate the lips, soften wrinkles and folds, and support overall facial harmony. We approach filler as the finishing touch, not the foundation, focusing on natural, balanced results that support your features without looking overdone.

Filler is a quick, in-office treatment with immediate results and minimal downtime. Results typically last 12–18 months, depending on the treatment area and individual metabolism. Common treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, chin, and jawline.

What to Expect

First, you’ll meet with one of our licensed aesthetic providers to discuss your concerns and treatment goals. Each treatment is customized using a full-face approach to ensure balanced, natural-looking results.

The treatment itself is quick, typically 30–60 minutes, and while it can be uncomfortable, it is very tolerable. Topical numbing is used as needed depending on the treatment area, with Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide) available to enhance comfort during your treatment.

Some swelling, bruising, and temporary redness are normal after filler. Initial swelling typically peaks around days 2–3, with most healing within 1–2 weeks. Filler can take up to 4 weeks to fully settle and integrate into the tissue.

You can return to most daily activities right away. Results are visible immediately and continue to refine as swelling subsides, lasting anywhere from 6–18 months. You’ll still look like you, just a more refreshed and enhanced version.

Lip Filler

We typically start with no more than 1 mL of lip filler per session, with the option to build gradually over time as desired. If you’ve had previous lip filler, we may recommend dissolving prior to treatment to ensure the most balanced and natural result. Your provider will assess your lips for any existing product and make a personalized recommendation during your consultation.Say Goodbye to Jaw Pain and Discomfort

Dissolving Filler

Hyaluronic acid filler can remain in the tissue longer than expected. Because of this, we often recommend dissolving previous filler before treating the lips, especially for those who have been maintaining filler over time.

We use Hylenex to safely dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers, including products from the Juvederm and Restylane families. After dissolving, we typically wait two or more weeks before re-treating to allow the tissue to fully settle.

Facial Balancing with Filler

We specialize in facial balancing with dermal filler to enhance your natural features. Using a full-face approach, our providers address the gradual volume loss that occurs with aging, particularly through the midface and cheeks, along with asymmetry and shadowing in areas such as the chin, cheeks, midface, and jawline.

Whether you are looking to improve your profile, soften shadows, restore midface volume, or define the jawline, each treatment is thoughtfully customized to your unique facial structure and goals. Rather than treating isolated areas, we take a comprehensive approach to ensure everything works together in balance.

Our focus is always on creating natural-looking results that feel refined, subtle, and never overdone, enhancing your features in a way that still feels like you.

FAQs

  • Dermal filler is a gel-like substance made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and soften visible signs of aging.

  • Results typically last anywhere from 6 to 18 months, depending on the treatment area, individual metabolism, and the type of filler used.

  • Dermal filler can be used to enhance and restore volume in areas such as the lips, cheeks, chin, jawline, and midface, as well as soften lines like nasolabial folds and marionette lines. Using a full-face approach, we focus on overall balance rather than treating isolated areas.

  • Downtime is minimal, and most patients return to normal activities the same day (with the exception of intense exercise, which should be avoided for 24 hours). Some swelling, redness, or bruising is expected, with initial swelling typically peaking around days 2–3. Most visible healing occurs within 1–2 weeks, but filler can take 2–4 weeks to fully settle and integrate into the tissue.

  • Filler treatments are very tolerable. Topical numbing is used as needed, and Pro-Nox (nitrous oxide) is available for added comfort during your treatment. In certain areas, local anesthetic can also be used to enhance comfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a brief pinch or pressure.

  • Our approach is focused on subtle, natural-looking results that enhance your features without looking overdone. We use filler as a finishing touch, not the foundation, and take a full-face approach to ensure balanced, refined results that still feel like you.

  • As we age, changes occur in the skin, fat pads, and underlying bone structure, leading to gradual volume loss. This can create hollowing, shadowing, and shifts in overall facial balance. Dermal filler can be used to restore structure and support, and may be combined with collagen-stimulating treatments to maintain skin quality and facial integrity in a way that looks natural and harmonious.

  • We use a range of FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers, including products from the Juvederm and Restylane families, selected based on your individual treatment plan and goals.
